Do You Miss Being Different?
Part IV - Be Different and Challenge Your Old Ways by Robert Kirby
Today’s world is changing so rapidly that it’s easy to be left behind. Some people are leading the way into brilliant new pathways. Others are mobilising energy in the darkness. They are lost and their inner light is flickering if not completely out.
Where do you stand?
If you have a tendency to wait and observe what others are doing then you may follow a pathway that is not your destiny. To blaze a new trail that is uniquely designed for yourself, you must have a strong intention to be different and change the world. Do you?
The profound talents you possess could be a buried treasure. What I mean is you have been conditioned in many instances to follow the crowd and not stick your neck out. Does this remind you of anyone? Your treasure within requires your being different in order for it to emerge. This is so exciting because it eliminates the need to find a teacher or coach to tell you what to do or tell you what you are good at.
Accordingly, although you need the support of a coach, healer or therapist from time to time, they can never, ever ~ no matter how skilled or experienced – tell you who you are, what you are or why you exist. This of course is a paradox. Because no one can tell you what your truth is, however you may be blocked from that treasure within.
Treasure Hunting
The only way to dig out your inner gems is to look at what is happening around you. I mean really look! Observation of what is going on may only take an instant. A thin slice of one dynamic in your life can speak volumes if you challenge the status quo. Do not defend your old way of being. Your being is different. Do not defend any organisation or country or cultures way of being. Your being different changes the world because your capacity to innovate will be released. That generates new power and ability. One step toward freedom opens the doorway to your greatness.
Although it is much safer to follow the status quo (conventional values), it is your responsibility to transcend (move above & beyond) traditional methods. This world today is more chaotic than ever. It needs your very best. Those who have changed the world dared to be different. Because you are reading this, it’s a sign that your treasure hunt (within) is about to begin.
Ask yourself, what am I so afraid of? People’s judgments? People judge everything we do. A fear of failure? All great people fail. Fear of success? Yes it’s a big responsibility. Do you still want it?
