Why Change Does not Last
Part 3 Transition & Reality
This report is Part 3 of a three part series.
In Part I you learned about theories of change & false promises. In Part 2 you learned the 7 steps of transformation that encompass the body & mind, soul and energy of life.
In this final report we will identify the missing link which is the blind spot of the entire personal development industry & the field of psychological interventions.
Transformational processes can be ineffectual, temporary, or permanent. The transition phase has prerequisites. Amongst them is your will or intention to blaze a new trail for your life. In other words you always have a choice.
Once you truly make that choice you will feel free & you will feel better. This is just the beginning. After embracing the old you, the new you needs support and reassurance. In body-oriented therapies we refer to this as somatic integration. This is a very fancy way of saying “let’s get your body to accept (embody) your new way of being”. Changes will then become apparent in your environment. Your body-energy will feel different. Your transition will have layers. If you are persistent, your life will get better and better. How good is that?
How Will You Feel Better?
Well, for starters, you will have more energy. Secondly, you will become more and more grounded and more and more present. This is a huge advantage in life. You will also become more and more focussed and productive in all areas of life. Wow!
Your Emotional Vibration will soar like an eagle. This means you will feel freer. The new found freedom releases more ability and intelligence. You will amaze yourself.
Your emerging spiritual union between your inner person and outer person will allow you trust yourself and to trust life much more deeply.
Reality Check
Your life’s evolution, if embodied, will improve every area of life. It will not happen overnight ~ but it will happen. Anything worthwhile in life must unfold over time.
Success leaves clues. In other words, when you live in truth, what you love flows to you and what you hate flows away from you. Your life becomes more effortless. The goals you set will be realistic achievable steps towards your life’s vision. This is the reality check that all change must measure against. If life does not get better, what good is the information age to you?
There are also lessons about letting go and detachment from all outcomes. This becomes a journey into wisdom and creating heaven on earth. Said another way, the more authentic work you do on yourself, the more your life will expand. What could be more exciting than a life of spiritual evolution, healing your human self and surrounding yourself with great success and loving relationships? Today even modern psychologists primarily work with cognitive behavioural therapy known as CBT. It uses brief intervention and then onto the medication. They work on issues or symptoms and not the cause of problems. The results are good but they do not last.
The worst feeling in life is being chronically stuck! It leaves a foul taste in your mouth when life is not moving forward. This dullness is caused by your “always knowing” the answer out of habit. This puts the brake on your growth and success. It usually alienates people unless they are desperate or robots. “Not knowing” opens the doorway to humility. This requires radical honesty with yourself. Denial keeps us from true self-appraisal and from building momentum.
In these uncertain times it’s more important to know where you stand. Remember your Universe is unique to you. If your inner ground (Inner person) is not anchored to this Earth then your outer person will be blown away by the wind storm.
